Full time employee for my brain, looking for projects to give my eyes a break from screens, and my hands a break from keyboard
Grew up with dad as carpenter and architect, but studied electronics, telecommunications, and business administration as Master. Critical thinking, problem solving, results-oriented. I can do pretty much anything I set my mind to. And my mind says mostly: no more heavy weights or back will hurt!
Born in Romania, I'm an expat for 15 years, and been living in CZ for over 10. I speak English, Romanian (native), Spanish (less technical), but no Czech yet (to a level I can say I understand).
I enjoy working with wood and furniture (building, assembling, making, fixing, replacing, customizing, etc). Electricity is my friend, so I am confident at approaching anything that has, or no longer has an electric plug, or few power wires (within legal limits that require a qualified electrician). Can attempt to fix electrical appliances. My tools can produce, repair, and adjust stuff (from Dremel range, to table-saw). I can drive motorcycles, cars, trucks (and trailers too; and even perform minor repairs and maintenance to them). Van conversions to campervans. I can also set up smart-home devices, routers and firewalls, but not sure I'd like to do that after office hours :)
At the top of the list because it's one of the most popular services. If you buy a bed from IKEA but it becomes a wardrobe, you probably need me to help you sleep on a proper surface. Nothing wrong with that - not everyone is good with puzzles, not everyone relaxes when assembling furniture. And the remaining bits and pieces are not always used.
I enjoy working with wooden products because wood is easy to work with, and realtively easy to repair. Does not need welding machines, or toxic glues. It also brakes easier, but that can be helped. I didn't have the time to take woodworking to the level of art and create expensive pieces of furniture, of rare wood or intricate designs. But with a table saw and some simple hand tools I can create some useful pieces. Or craft some replacement parts. Or install some furniture in a van.
Some things around the house may be worth saving and repairing instead of buying new ones. Chipped furniture can be fixed, burnt engines can be replaced, a hole in the wall can be filled up. Or maybe as simple as a furniture door that doesn't close properly or needs some grease. Or a screw that keeps coming out.
Any car or motorcycle repairs, touch-ups, part replacements, that does not interfere with safety systems and which require an authorized service (ie: oil change - but if the oil or service interval needs to be reset in the car computer/dashboard, I may not be able to do it)

Negotiable, but in the lines of:
- 500Kc to reach your location in Prague (200Kc for my neighborhood, Vinohrady). This includes assessment of the problem if the pictures you sent, or description are not conclusive
- 500Kc per hour, indivisible (ie. 1h10min paid as 2h). Can be negotiated per project
- price does not include additional materials needed (ie. cement, silicone, paint,etc.), or the trip time to procure them from a specialized shop
*payment in cash or by QR code/bank transfer, invoice for the services provided is sent electronically

Note: As full time employee, my available time is after 18:00, and weekends.
